Do my PDF files get uploaded to a server?
No. All editing happens entirely inside your browser using WebAssembly and the pdf-lib library. Your files never leave your device.
Can I edit text that's already in the PDF?
Yes. Use the Edit Text tool to click on any existing text span and modify it inline. The text is rewritten directly into the PDF content stream, preserving the original font and formatting as closely as possible.
What file size limit is there?
Free accounts support PDFs up to 10 MB. Pro accounts support up to 100 MB. Most office documents and contracts fall well within the free limit.
Does the editor work on mobile?
Yes, the editor works in any modern browser including mobile Safari and Chrome. For best results we recommend a desktop browser for precise annotation placement.
