Frequently asked questions

How many PDFs can I merge at once?
There is no hard limit on the number of files. You can merge as many PDFs as your browser has memory for. In practice, merging 10–20 typical office documents is very fast.
Will the merged PDF be searchable?
Yes. All text content, including selectable text and metadata, is preserved in the merged output. The document remains fully searchable.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
Currently password-protected PDFs require you to remove the protection before merging. This is a browser security limitation — we cannot access encrypted content without the password.
Does merging preserve bookmarks and table of contents?
Bookmarks and internal links are not currently transferred to the merged document. The page content and all visible elements are preserved, but document-level navigation metadata is not yet merged.
Is there a file size limit for merging?
Free accounts can merge files up to 10 MB each. Pro accounts support up to 100 MB per file. The total merged output can be much larger — the limit applies to individual input files.
